An interest in Film

I've been interested in film for some time now. Its been a weird interest for me in that I grew up in a culture that saw the arts in pop culture as helping to degrade the people that watch and listing to their creations. And I treated the creative spirit within me like a sin doing it but trying to hide it. When I began to follow Jesus Christ I began to have the freedom to choose to create and no longer hid from it. I decided to take at trip to Istanbul, Turkey and study art and photography with a man named Ronald Lopez who ran a studio there. After that part which lasted a few weeks he gave me an oppourtinity to be on a team that was making a movie and take pictures of the production. I met the man making it, I saw the script, it was an interesting script filled with the culture of Turkey. I decided not to do it. How could I pass that up? Right? Instead of doing that I took part in the CBU isp team which was great experience where I met amazing people and eventually went to CBU . I look back and wonder how that would of changed my life. Either way I learned that I dont know where these interests will take me but dont want let them pass by.

I have this big intro for these pictures because they are of short film a student club at UCR is making.
I was at taking pictures for them just as I would of been in Istanbul. Kinda Cool
I had a great time taking photos. I had to remind myself to take pictures because I was so interested in watching the process
of making a Film.

God is a creative God. Since we are made in His image, it only makes sense that we are creative beings as well. Anything beautiful can be corrupted, and in many ways art has. But I'm glad that you have decided to follow your passions and talents God has given you.

Quick question. Was that guy in the second or third picture named Frank?
