eyes beholding the future,
intensity changing the mind forever.
it seeks out the young
to take root
like a parasite that can not be seen
eating the soul,
calling him a loser
driving it deeper
taking advantage of
cutting a gash in the head.
a day has come
dawning a war
life glimpsing the freedom from
the past.
lows and strain come in the day
but battles won through friends of God
